The Pontifical Institute of the Religious Teachers Filippini
is an Institute of consecrated life dedicated to the works of the Christian Apostolate.

Faithful to the original inspiration of our Founders, St. Lucy Filippini and Cardinal Mark Anthony Barbarigo,
we continue to regard the ministry of the Christian education of youth and of adults, especially women, as our principal duty.

Prayer Intentions

Prayer intentionHave no anxiety at all, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God. Then the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7

As we strengthen the bond that united us to God through personal and communal prayer, we come to understand more clearly the meaning of our being together: Christ living within us reveals himself and becomes the sustaining leaven of growth in our love for one another.

The Religious Teachers pray for our sisters, families, the people of God and all those who ask us to pray. Join with us in lifting your mind and heart to God. Know that we pray for you each day in the Eucharistic Liturgy, in Eucharistic adoration and during quiet times of meditation.

Prayer is the raising of one's mind and heart to God in thanksgiving and in praise of his glory. It can also include the requesting of good things from God. It is an act by which one enters into awareness of a loving communion with God. "Prayer is the response of faith to the free promise of salvation and also a response of love to the thirst of the only Son of God" (CCC, no. 2561). From the United States Catholic Catechism for Adults.
